Covenant Players

Covenant 2
Pls Click to enlarge the Picture!

During the last Saturday Night service at FCC, it was my honor and blessing to have witness once again, a play by the Covenant Players. The play was indeed superb! The message was simple and yet clears! We are proud to have Lina, Jimmy and Michelle from Indonesia, Australia and Philippines to perform for us. There were three dramas. With simple props, like Table, chairs and newspapers, they were able to put up a touching heart drama!

Here are some photos from the Drama. Enjoy!

TRUMP

It’s been a long time since I last have had a good post faith station outing… Fuh~

The dinner was good, the chatting, the laughter and most importantly the game. The game of ‘Trump’!!! Please! Not Donald Trump! Okay! It’s the card game!

Prior to that, the busyness and the hectic-ness of the week have almost taken toll of me. Despite a whole day of sleep and watching some interesting YouTube clips, my mind and soul has been restless. The post- faith station session has really refreshed me. My spirit’s fire has been slightly re-kindled. So much stress has come upon me that I think my mind has come to a point of almost shut down!

Nevertheless, the Lord has been good! The game of trump session, took away my burden and transgression for a moment. And also, it refreshes my mind on an issue. It reminds me on a small part of an email which my friends sent me long ago. The line goes, “God will not ask how BIG your house is; Instead, God will ask, How many people have you welcomed into your house”.

I believe that is utmost true. What is the point of having a huge house when there are only a few people who inhabits it? Though some house may be small, but its humbleness welcomes people in, that’s the point of a true warm house. Which I think Brother Sam, Danny and Adele has done a great job!

I really felt welcomed. It was really like a Chinese New Year visitation! The game, the drinks, the food! Oh my! Anyways, thanks for lifting my stress and giving me such an enjoyable time. Time to fight for the coming war! Exams! Wish me all the best!

House Blessings at the Devasers

Wohoo~ it was sure a fun night doing house blessings at the Devaser's (Paul's family). It was my first time doing it and sure it was an experience... After the stringent procedures.. we had dinner and then sharing...

And boy~ for a long long long long time... since i last had banana leaf and Indian cuisine~ It was a sumptuous one! the best part? we were treated 1st class treatment... with half the shop's waiter serving our table just because i brought my 'babe' out.. hehehe...

Nevertheless, the food was superb~ i love the Vadai and the Resam~ Woooo.... i can still taste it in my mouth! The herbs and the spice~ It was really a 'pow wa' meal~ Then, i got the chance to actually taste the Indian candies which i usually see down the street from KL Sentral to the monorail station across...

It was indeed lovely.. especially the Milk candy~ Gee... it was heavenly... and of course these are 'Melamine- Free' kekeke... the best replacement for the rabiit candy for the moment... just in case some of you out there like it~

Anyways... the trip for house blessings is in fact MORE than just a House blessing! It was more of a sharing and caring journey~ Yuhoo~

Enough!

It been a hectic week! Fuh, finally the load has been taken off after the submission of my assignment today. Now, begins the nightmare. As the exam week encroaches, revision is a vital step to prevail over the fear of failure. ENOUGH! Is the key! Enough of failing, victory is what I claim for. Nevertheless, been pondering is there a better alternative than exams? Though over the years, this topic has been debated numerous times and it seems exam is still very much around…

Being in the academic world, I do think time is of essence. We are to master a subject within 12 Weeks! From almost nothing, we have to master the unit. So much so I sometimes wonder if books are of use. It’s not like when we pass our exam, we are sure to be good at the practical.
The whole holistic institution is not that intellectual after all. We are merely a few living books which repeat whatever the books have written. No doubt, I am not against examination though. Examinations do play a role in ‘filtering’ some lazy bums who dwell in the holistic body and act to be a drip. It’s really an amazement to see so many types of people in the university.

From group assignments, one will be able to see the assortment of people. Some who makes you love, some who makes you hate. Some who just makes you adore them. I was once told of my purpose in the university is to mould myself. From study, one is able to shape ones many skills. Ability to persevere, communicate, patience and so forth…

Thru the trials and error, one is changed. Of course not everyone goes thru that. Some remained the same. Whilst some really ‘wasted’ their time… and others’ time… thus, I think my experience in the academia world has thus brought me quite far. I have learnt a lot thru the trials and error… I thank God for the opportunities that has step up my door and pls, help me thru it.

Last but not least, I recall my spiritual encounter when my nightmare was haunting and I was terribly terrified. I was shown a particular quote which made everything still for a moment… “If you fail to learn, Learn to Fail”

Hey hey hey.. I'm Back~ On this post, it is to update some pictures that i have taken.. The same as i would like to dedicate this post to my respected Faith Station Leader Victor Da Lee~ hahaha...

I really thank God for giving him the ST5878J... Anyways.. here are some of the photos from his birthday~ Tadaa....
