TRUMP


It’s been a long time since I last have had a good post faith station outing… Fuh~

The dinner was good, the chatting, the laughter and most importantly the game. The game of ‘Trump’!!! Please! Not Donald Trump! Okay! It’s the card game!

Prior to that, the busyness and the hectic-ness of the week have almost taken toll of me. Despite a whole day of sleep and watching some interesting YouTube clips, my mind and soul has been restless. The post- faith station session has really refreshed me. My spirit’s fire has been slightly re-kindled. So much stress has come upon me that I think my mind has come to a point of almost shut down!

Nevertheless, the Lord has been good! The game of trump session, took away my burden and transgression for a moment. And also, it refreshes my mind on an issue. It reminds me on a small part of an email which my friends sent me long ago. The line goes, “God will not ask how BIG your house is; Instead, God will ask, How many people have you welcomed into your house”.

I believe that is utmost true. What is the point of having a huge house when there are only a few people who inhabits it? Though some house may be small, but its humbleness welcomes people in, that’s the point of a true warm house. Which I think Brother Sam, Danny and Adele has done a great job!

I really felt welcomed. It was really like a Chinese New Year visitation! The game, the drinks, the food! Oh my! Anyways, thanks for lifting my stress and giving me such an enjoyable time. Time to fight for the coming war! Exams! Wish me all the best!

House Blessings at the Devasers

Wohoo~ it was sure a fun night doing house blessings at the Devaser's (Paul's family). It was my first time doing it and sure it was an experience... After the stringent procedures.. we had dinner and then sharing...

And boy~ for a long long long long time... since i last had banana leaf and Indian cuisine~ It was a sumptuous one! the best part? we were treated 1st class treatment... with half the shop's waiter serving our table just because i brought my 'babe' out.. hehehe...

Nevertheless, the food was superb~ i love the Vadai and the Resam~ Woooo.... i can still taste it in my mouth! The herbs and the spice~ It was really a 'pow wa' meal~ Then, i got the chance to actually taste the Indian candies which i usually see down the street from KL Sentral to the monorail station across...

It was indeed lovely.. especially the Milk candy~ Gee... it was heavenly... and of course these are 'Melamine- Free' kekeke... the best replacement for the rabiit candy for the moment... just in case some of you out there like it~

Anyways... the trip for house blessings is in fact MORE than just a House blessing! It was more of a sharing and caring journey~ Yuhoo~

MAPCU Taekwando

I believe i owe many these photos... It was last week's preliminary round of Taekwando Tournament between Malaysian Private Colleges and Universities under MAPCU (Malaysian Association of Private Colleges and Universities) organized by Taekwando Club of Monash University and Taylors College.

It was my opportunity to take some action and sports photos and it was indeed an eye - opening one... Especially the heroic Girls who put up their cool and heroic action-packed competition. Here you go~



The event next will be taking place at Monash University Foyer. It's the Finals... It's deemed to be more exciting! Till then~

Enough!



It been a hectic week! Fuh, finally the load has been taken off after the submission of my assignment today. Now, begins the nightmare. As the exam week encroaches, revision is a vital step to prevail over the fear of failure. ENOUGH! Is the key! Enough of failing, victory is what I claim for. Nevertheless, been pondering is there a better alternative than exams? Though over the years, this topic has been debated numerous times and it seems exam is still very much around…

Being in the academic world, I do think time is of essence. We are to master a subject within 12 Weeks! From almost nothing, we have to master the unit. So much so I sometimes wonder if books are of use. It’s not like when we pass our exam, we are sure to be good at the practical.
The whole holistic institution is not that intellectual after all. We are merely a few living books which repeat whatever the books have written. No doubt, I am not against examination though. Examinations do play a role in ‘filtering’ some lazy bums who dwell in the holistic body and act to be a drip. It’s really an amazement to see so many types of people in the university.

From group assignments, one will be able to see the assortment of people. Some who makes you love, some who makes you hate. Some who just makes you adore them. I was once told of my purpose in the university is to mould myself. From study, one is able to shape ones many skills. Ability to persevere, communicate, patience and so forth…

Thru the trials and error, one is changed. Of course not everyone goes thru that. Some remained the same. Whilst some really ‘wasted’ their time… and others’ time… thus, I think my experience in the academia world has thus brought me quite far. I have learnt a lot thru the trials and error… I thank God for the opportunities that has step up my door and pls, help me thru it.

Last but not least, I recall my spiritual encounter when my nightmare was haunting and I was terribly terrified. I was shown a particular quote which made everything still for a moment… “If you fail to learn, Learn to Fail”

Welcome Back~

It was a long long long… long long and long… time since I last wrote a thing. I know... I know.. I know… I just said that in the last post. I’m really sorry… Hahaha… Anyways... just to let you know... I’m busy with a few things in hand.. That’s why I’ve been absent from my blog… But... I do visit this place very often… just in case some of you left me a note at my chat box or left me a comment in my post~

Apart from that, I’ve been busy diving in deep into my hobby… developing it and spending almost all of my free time submerging myself in it… Here’s something to share with you all.. I recently participated in the All Malaysia. Info ‘gang’. They’re on the All Malaysian Bloggers project a.k.a. AMBP Join it if you’re a blogger… They’ve got plenty to offer…

They organized a trip to Sunway for photographers… It was a fantastic trip… We visited the Lagoon theme park, the resort and my favorite shopping mall… basically the whole of Sunway tour in ONE day! It sure wore me out…

Anyways… it was a splendid day out with all the photographers… Especially a moment of sharing with a News Wire photographer, Encik Shamshahrin Shamsudin, who shared his experience and some of his works over the years!

Not only so, we get have tours lead by the pretty staffs of Sunway group. The best part is… Different part of Sunway, we’re lead by different pretty tour guide! Wohoo~ the only bad thing that occurred that day was bad weather for taking photos… As the Sky was slightly grayish… And it did rain in the afternoon…

Nonetheless, Sunway group was really generous that we all went back with our belly stuffed and Hands full of souvenirs as well as mind packed with info… In Line with the Sunway Creating memories, we are given all the opportunity on earth to learn and tips on how to capture the best of Sunway City!

Anyways... without further ado, let me introduce you to some of my works… I hope for you who viewed them, do not hesitate to comment… I do hope to learn from critics… If not, pls praise a bit lar~ Need to boost my ego a bit… Hehehe.. Here you go…

Glad

Recently, many have asked of me to update my blog. Of course first of all, I have to apologize for being absent in presenting any of my thoughts. And though due to my 5 weeks of absence in updates, I am indeed glad that many of my fellow readers are still here checking in once in a while to see if I have updated. While some cease to check it so often that they fixed a tracker to inform them as soon as I have updated my blog. Either way, I am grateful for their patience and love in anticipating my update.

Indeed many has occurred and many incidents have taken place. Through that, many inspirations have come and go. What a waste, I truly thought a point. But, what to do, Life’s brief candle. As I have shared particularly with a friend. That has got to be one of the best literature I can still recollect from my high school bench syllabus. I can’t help but to post it here and remind my fellow mates about it.

Certainly many of us are familiar with the meaning from interpretation by our fellow linguists in the education field. But, the poem seems resounding in life. Not my life particularly, but in lives of those who have chooses to end their life. What a sad drama when people have nothing more that they can stay for, they chose to end their life.
I am putting forth this reflection of my upon a series of case of suicide that has taken place in recent month. Some may think they are stupid, or some may say they are brave. I am sure there are a series of plot behind the scenes which many not know. Is life really nothing but just struts and frets by a poor player upon the stage and tall tale told by an idiot with full of sound and fury and then is heard no more?
That leads to the core of today’s post. I personally don’t think so. At least… Then, what on earth are we here for then? That, I leave it to the audience to solve. Perhaps my recommendation on the book, Purpose driven life by Rick Warren, would be of great reference. In simple, for everything that happens and its there, know it. There’s a reason behind it. We may not be able to contain it now, but, take a pinch of faith; we will be able to comprehend it perhaps sometimes later in life. Familiar? Yes, I have heard it since I was young. I once asked my dad, how come suddenly I have a younger sister, when mom was at hospital after delivering my younger sister. And the answer I always get? You’ll know it when u grow up… Gladly I understand it now…  Till then… Thanks for reading~
